We are a community
FREE of judgment.
Have you ever been told you’re too sensitive?
Or like you need a unique language to express yourself in this world?
The Creative School for Integration is a community of people learning to speak their own language––maybe for the first time.
Are you looking for a judgment-free space for creative rest, or supportive community as you begin, return to, or deepen a creative practice? The Creative School for Integration invites highly sensitive, autistic, and non-verbal individuals to make your marks.
Facilitated by Dena Clayton, Certified Clinical EFT Practitioner & Kirsten D'Andrea Hollander, Creative School for Integration Founder & Creative Guide
Special Event - $22.00 for Creative School Members, $32.00 for Non-Members.
If you cannot make the live event a recording will be made available to you.
Explore the integration of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), aka Tapping, with Embodied Mark Making.
EFT Tapping is a simple and scientifically validated method proven to calm the nervous system. Gently tapping our fingertips on several acupoints brings a shift from a 'fight, flight, or freeze' emotional state into a peaceful 'rest and digest' mode. EFT reduces anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, pain, and other stressors.
Mark Making in and of itself is a precursor to doodling, journaling, drawing, painting — whatever creativity your heart desires. Embodied Mark Making is a practice which acknowledges how the body receives the spirit of creativity into its ever expanding Creative Heart Space. Embodied Mark Making is an accessible path to all creative forms.
No prior art experience is needed, yet seasoned artists are also finding new depths in their work.
